Over 27,000 Syrian refugees enter Jordan last week

A total of 27,410 Syrian refugees crossed into Jordan last week of which 9721 entered the Kingdom during the last 72 hours. An official source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces said that the refugees represent various age groups including children, women, elderly people, patients and injured. "Humanitarian aid was provided to the refugees before they were transferred to the Zaatari Refugee Camp, while the injured were hospitalized at military and civilian hospitals" the source added.
