
President Mamnoon Hussain of Pakistan has siad his country will continue to extend strong cooperation with Saudi Arabia to fight the menace of terrorism.
This came while welcoming a Saudi parliamentary delegation headed by the Chairman of Shura Council of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-sheikh who called on him in Islamabad today, at the Presidential Palace .
The President urged upon the Saudi investors to invest in Pakistan's energy, infrastructure and agriculture sectors and benefit from investment-friendly policies.
Earlier , while receiving the Chairman of Shura Council of Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are deep rooted in common faith and culture and destined to grow further in the days to come. The government and the people of Pakistan hold the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in high esteem.
Talking on the fight against terrorist, the Prime Minister said the main military operation " Zarb e Azb " has yielded many fruitful results and that the terrorists are now on the run and hitting soft targets.
Chairman of Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Mohammad Al-Sheikh said that exchange of parliamentary delegations would strengthen the bonds of friendship between our two brotherly countries as both sides share identical views on regional and international level.
During his visit to Pakistan , the Chairman of the Shura Council called on Speaker of the Federal Parliament Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. Issues of common interest and ways of strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries were discussed.
