
A fighter aircraft of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed on Thursday during a routine operational training in eastern Pakistani province of Punjab. The PAF spokesman has confirmed that an F-7P fighter jet was on a routine training mission when it crashed near Isakhel in Mianwali district. However, the pilot of the jet, Flying Officer Taha managed to eject safely with some minor injuries. The security forces immediately reached the site of the incident and cordoned off the area. The pilot was shifted to the military hospital where he is reported safe now. The cause of the jet crash was not known, however the authorities would probe into the incident.
