Pakistani PM urges end to terror attacks

Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday called the recent terror attacks in the country as detrimental to the ongoing peace talks.Sharif on his return to Pakistan after completing his three-day visit to Turkey in a press interview described the attacks as "shocking" calling for them to be stopped immediately. He added that there was complete harmony between Pakistan's government and military over the peace talks.Earlier, the banned Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) nominated a five-member committee to hold dialogues with government following an announcement by the Prime Minister to form a committee to represent government side for peace talks. The prime minister on Saturday said that he wanted an end to the killing of innocent Pakistanis and formed the committee sincerely.The Prime Minister during his Turkish visit attended the 8th trilateral summit on 'Sustainable Peace in the heart of Asia', mainly focusing the efforts to establish peace in Afghanistan.Sharif had bilateral meetings with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and discussed the bilateral cooperation and regional matters.
