Pakistani president condemns Kabul attacks

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari condemned in a telephone conversation last night with his Afghan Counterpart Hamid Karzai the recent attacks in Kabul. Zardari said "such attacks would not deter us from pursuing our common objective." The Pakistani President stressed that his country condemns all types of terrorist attacks and will continue its efforts to curb terrorism. All parties in Afghanistan should work together to defeat these terrorist elements, Zardari said, stressing that peace in Afghanistan is very important for peace in Pakistan.
