Palestinian man crushed to death at checkpoint

A Palestinian man has died due to extreme overcrowding inside an Israeli checkpoint while going to work on Sunday. The man, a 59 year old resident of the Palestinian village of Bala, died from being crushed by the crowd inside the checkpoint Mondoweiss reports.Every day thousands of Palestinians have to undergo inspection within these checkpoints and due to the procedures being extremely slow, it often results in overcrowding.
