A number of Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) members received on Saturday a delegation from the Swiss parliament and briefed them on the latest developments in Palestine especially after recent Israeli elections.
During the meeting, they informed the Swiss delegation that the newly-elected Israeli government is a far-right government that does not believe in reaching peace between Palestinians and Israel.
They also pointed out that Israel, led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, ignores international law, violates al Quds (occupied East Jerusalem) and West Bank via establishing new settlements.
Israel also confiscates lands and destroys Palestinian houses which puts a big dent ahead of achieving the two-state solution.
