A delegation from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) Monday visited the Cabinet's central operations room to get acquainted with ways to follow up the electoral process.
The delegation visited the Cairo district of Zamalek to follow up the process inside one of the polls and will visit other areas as well later in the day, Adviser to the Prime Minister for Elections Affairs Refaat Qumsan said.
Answering a query by a French lawmaker on any reported acts of violence or terror over the past couple of days, Qumsan said no such incidents were reported and the media people are allowed to cover the incidents.
PAM comprises Cyprus, France, Italy, Jordan and Libya.
