Park renews push for government reorganization plans

President Park Geun-hye renewed her push Friday to have the contentious government reorganization plans pass through parliament, saying she can't realize her economic vision unless the proposal is approved as is. Park made the remarks when she met with leaders of the ruling Saenuri Party to discuss how to break the deadlock in negotiations with the opposition party over the proposal. It calls for creating new ministries and other offices and reassigning responsibilities among existing ones.
