The House of Representatives is keen on enacting laws to support Egypt's economic reform plans, Parliament Deputy Speaker Mahmoud el Sherif said on Tuesday.
During a meeting with a delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Sherif called for coordinating international efforts to face terrorism, thus achieving sustainable development.
Sherif stressed that the Egyptian House of Representatives includes all segments of the Egyptian people.
President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Suma Chakrabarti said cooperation is underway between Egypt and the EBRD to establish three mega projects in Egypt.
The EBRD is keen on providing technical support for small-sized projects and funding solar energy projects, Chakrabarti said.
