Kuwaiti Ambassador to France Ali Al-Said said here on Thursday the visit of the Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation, led by Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, has given a "major push" to good relations between Kuwait and France. Speaking to KUNA and Kuwait TV on the sidelines of a dinner in honor of the team, he voiced much satisfaction with the outcomes of the parliamentary team's visit to France. Hailing the visit as very successful, he said the delegation had met French officials and members of parliament on how to cement bilateral relations and several issues of mutual interest. He said the parliament speaker had urged French officials to help in opening the door for Kuwaiti investors to have business in France in particular and Europe in general with a view to bolstering trade and economic exchange.
