Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal on Sunday stressed the importance of the role of Egyptians abroad in correcting the false image about Egypt.
Abdel Aal made the remarks in a meeting with a delegation of the Egyptian community in the United States.
The parliament speaker and members hailed the role of the Egyptian community in the US in supporting Egypt.
Head of the delegation Adel Ageeb appreciated the warm welcome in Egypt, pointing out that the community members were keen on supporting their homeland.
Ageeb praised the Egyptian government and parliament for stabilizing the principles of citizenship in the country.
