
The House of Representatives on Tuesday approved agreements of cooperation, loans and aviation services signed with Bahrain, South Korea and Japan.
During its session, the parliament endorsed an agreement on countering double taxation and tax evasion measures between Egypt and Bahrain. The agreement was approved under presidential decree no. 344/2016 and signed on April 8.
The parliament also passed an agreement signed between Egypt and Germany on May 29, 2016 to boost financial cooperation. It was approved under presidential decree no 408/2016.
Another agreement, passed by the economic and foreign relations committee, was approved to accept a loan contract which was signed with South Korea on March 3. It was approved under presidential decree no. 408/2016.
The parliament ratified an agreement of cooperation with the Japanese government to get a loan from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to fund expansion of Borg El Arab International Airport.
It was accepted by the joint tourism and aviation sub-committee and approved by presidential decree no. 284/2016.
