Parl't committee stresses Egyptian-Greek ties

Egyptian Religious Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, under Osama el Aabd, stressed the historic relations binding Egypt and Greece.
El Aabd made the remarks while receiving a Greek delegation comprising Komotini mufti Cemali Metso, Xanthi mufti along with other Greek Muslim leaders.
The meeting tackled exchanging imams to mark the holy fasting month of Ramadan and take part in similar religious events.
Meanwhile, members of the Greek delegation expressed appreciation for the warm reception, underscoring the the depth of Egyptian-Greek relations.
They also voiced hope an exchange of visits would be maintained at all levels, especially the parliamentary.
