
The Palestinian Investment Fund (PIF)and the European Union have signed an agreement aimed at financing a group of Small and medium enterprises in Al Quds city .The agreement was signed by Dr. Mohammad Mustafa ,the Chairman of PIF and the EU representative in Palestine, John Gatt-Rutter.Under the agreement, the EU pledged1.88 million euros would be paid in three installments to the PI f For his part , Gatt-Rutter pointed out that the agreement constitutes a practical translation of the EU’s commitment towards East Jerusalem and supporting its citizens through initiatives and projects contributing to provide job opportunities and activating the vital economic sectors such as tourism , trade and industry , services, and information technology.
