PM Ayrault: France content with confidence level with Algeria

French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said Monday the level of confidence between Paris and Algiers "will open new horizons in a calm atmosphere." Ayrault, at a joint news conference with his Algerian counterpart Abdulmalek Sallal, said relations between the two countries allowed the two sides to build bridges of cooperation "for the sake of an ambitious partnership that match the bonds linking our countries and people." He said the level of confidence resulted from the "dyamanism" launched by Algerian and French Presidents, Abdulaziz Bouteflika and Francois Hollande. Ayrault said France was keen on relaunching dialogue over many issues of mutual interest. Sallal voiced relief for the French investment in Algeria "and they can be assured about our political will regarding the encouragement of partnership that will benefit the two parties." Algeria, he said, "is not only a market for France but a partner above all.
