Police find another bomb at Palestinian embassy in Prague

Police disarmed another bomb found in the Palestinian Embassy in Prague, Czech Republic, where a blast Jan. 1 killed the ambassador, officials said Thursday. The latest explosive device was found in a book, Pravo reported. "An explosive was found; it was secured and sent for an expert examination to the criminology institute," Prague Police Chief Martin Vondracek said. Jamal al-Jamal, 56, was killed when a bomb exploded in a safe on New Year's Day. Besides the explosive device, police found 12 unregistered firearms at the embassy, Pravo said. In a statement to the Prague police, the Palestinians said the weapons were gifts from representatives of the communist Czechoslovakia and that the old firearms were kept in a safe for many years, Czech news agency CTK reported.
