A family in Upper Egypt's governorate of Assiut protest against alleged gun charges against their relative, police officer kills one of its membersA police officer in Upper Egypt’s governorate of Assiut fired at a family, protesting over alleged charges of gun possession against one of their relatives, in front of a police station, leaving one of its members dead.The policeman fired at the family during their attempt to raid the station, Al-Ahram Arabic news website reported on Thursday.Attia's death sparked more anger among the family, leading the police to fire tear gas to disperse them.Saber Attia, brother of the slain Mohamd Attia, told Al-Ahram the police raided their house earlier for inspection but found nothing. The family was later informed of the allegedly fabricated charges "accusing one of the relatives of possessing an unlicensed gun," Attia explained. source : Ahramonline
