An officer of the police patrol service was hospitalized with a heavy wound after the explosion of a car in the Dagestani city Buinaksk on Monday. “The car exploded at about 13:00 Moscow time in the Lermontov Street,” the republican investigation department of the Russian Investigation Committee told Itar-Tass. The explosive device was presumably planted under the car bottom on the driver side, a source in the republican investigation department said. The car was also carrying the wife of the police officer and two children aged three years and three months. They were not injured in the car blast. The team of detectives is working at the blast site.
