Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski concluded his five-day state visit to China and left Beijing Thursday afternoon. During his stay in Beijing, Komorowski held talks with President Hu Jintao, and they signed a joint statement extending bilateral relations to the level of strategic partnership. Komorowski also met with top legislator Wu Bangguo, Premier Wen Jiabao and Vice Premier Li Keqiang. At the invitation of Hu, Komorowski started his China visit in Shanghai,China's financial hub on Sunday. He also attended a China-Poland investment cooperation forum in Shanghai on Monday. Komorowski is the first Polish president to visit China in 14 years.
