Political parties condemned the terrorist attack that took place close to the Italian consulate in downtown Cairo on Saturday.
The blast left one person killed and nine others wounded.
Secretary General of el Nour Party Galal Mora slammed the attack, stressing that these incidents will not affect the will of the Egyptian people but will increase their strength.
The Head of Sadat Democratic Party Effat el Sadat deplored the bombing, noting that these incidents aim at harming the foreign interests in Egypt ahead of the inauguration of the New Suez Canal.
The terrorist groups aim at spreading chaos during this phase where the road plan is about to be completed, he said.
