Polls close in Liberia

Voting ended Tuesday in Liberia's second post-war elections, seen as a litmus test for the west African nation's fragile democracy, election officials said. "Polls closed at 6:00pm. The queue controller will go to the back of the line, and those still in it will be served. We are aware of a couple of places where people still have to vote," said elections commission spokesman Bobby Livingstone.
