Former Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed el Orabi is leading a popular delegation to Germany to pave the way for the projected visit of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Speaking to MENA, Orabi said the delegation groups politicians, members of Egyptian parties, former parliamentarians in addition to the Mufti's counselor.
The delegation held talks with German Foreign Ministry officials and German parliament members with the aim of demonstrating support to all steps taken to achieve economic and development progress in Egypt, he added.
He added that the delegation will also meet with members of the German communities in a number of German states.
He hoped Sisi visit would be the start of a new stage in Egyptian-German relations in the political, cultural, economic and educational domains.
