Foreign Minister of Portugal Paulo Sacadura Cabral Portas praised Iran's constructive cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He told IRNA that a new chapter has been opened in relations between the Islamic Republic and the UN nuclear watchdog. The Portuguese foreign minister stressed that Iran’s permission to the IAEA inspectors to visit its Parchin military site can have positive impact on the future talks between the two sides. He expressed hope that fresh talks would help resolve the existing issues. Portas then noted that Tehran has always proved its goodwill through its close cooperation with the IAEA. He then termed the anti-Iran resolutions as unjust and illegal.
