
President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi on Wednesday met with European Union (EU) ambassador Bettina Muscheidt and German ambassador Carola Muller-Holtkemper. During the meeting, the President discussed with EU and Garman envoys cooperation relations between Yemen and their countries and ways of enhancing the joint areas of cooperation at various levels. Hadi praised efforts made by the ambassadors to support the transition process being taken place in Yemen and overcome challenges and difficulties to begin a new stage meets the aspirations of the Yemeni people. He valued highly the EU countries' assistances in all fields, topped by the technical support in the restructuring of the Interior Ministry, as well as benefiting from the Germany's experience in addressing land disputes. Muscheidt and Muller-Holtkemper expressed the EU and Germany's willingness to continue to support Yemen at this stage and the next ones of the transition and state-building processes.
