
President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi met on Tuesday in the city of Hadibo in Socotra archipelago with leaderships of the executive, local, military and security authorities and social figures in the island. The meeting touched on the needs and requirements of the Socotra archipelago from service and development projects and issues relating to the citizens’ concerns and needs. The president directed the concerned authorities to facilitate and provide the needs and the basic requirements. “The future of Socotra archipelago will be promising in light of announcing it a province, which will facilitate the process of dealing directly with the center as well as flow of the flights to and from the archipelago", the president said. After that, the president paid an exploratory tour in a number of areas of the archipelago and the attractive tourist sites in Socotra, which is one of the unique tourist sites in the world. The president called on investors to invest in the island, confirming that the investors would receive all necessary facilities.
