
President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi held a meeting with members of the Conciliation Commission for the National Dialogue (NDC) at the Presidential Palace in Sanaa on Monday. The meeting, attended by the UN envoy to Yemen Jaman Ben Omar, dealt with the progress achieved by various subcommittees and work groups within the framework of the NDC's time table. President Hadi hailed efforts made by all members, saying that "they establish a new era in the history of the nation." He desrciped the coming phase as "a new phase of peace and harmony and the building of a modern civil state that everyone seek to achieve." "Yemen is on the verge of a new phase being shaped by the Yemenis themselves backed by the regional and international community in recognition of the unique model Yemen constitutes after the country has chosen dialogue as a way for resolving differences," Hadi told the meeting.
