President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi on Wednesday met at his office in the Presidency Palace with the U.S. ambassador to Yemen, Gerald Feierstein. In the meeting, they discussed a number of issues and topics related to the developments and the current issues at the different levels, including the nature of the security warnings launched by the United Sates and some European countries in order to avoid any terrorist operations may be carried out by al-Qaeda. The meeting also touched on the results of the President’s recent visit to the United States, which gave a new push towards strengthening the Yemeni-American relations and exchanging views on what regards to the security and stability of Yemen and the region. It is worth mentioning that the U.S. embassy in Sana’a will reopen its doors for work during the next few days. Earlier this week, the U.S. decided to reopen 18 of its embassies in the Middle East after closing them for several days due to security concerns.
