
President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi met on Monday with Karen Sasahara Chargé d'affaires of the US embassy in Sana'a. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them as well as the regional and international developments of mutual interest. They also reviewed the successes which have been achieved in the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) within the framework of Yemen’s political settlement based on the GCC-brokered initiative and the Security Council resolutions No. 2014 and 2051. President Hadi noted the big steps made by the NDC, which the people of Yemen depend on to solve the current difficulties and build a modern civil state based on justice, equality, partnership and good governance. President Hadi also valued the U.S. support for Yemen in all fields. For her part, the US diplomat renewed her country’s commitment to supporting Yemen and its security, stability and unity.
