President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi received here on Tuesday ambassadors of the U.S. , UK and France to Yemen. In the meeting, President Hadi received from the three ambassadors the statement of the joint-chairmanship of the ministerial meeting of the Friends of Yemen, which was held in London on March 7. The Friends Group underlined, in their statement, the importance of supporting the plans of development and reforms being implemented by the Yemeni government in the political, economic, security and human rights areas, affirming their full support for the sovereignty, independence and unity of Yemen and their commitment to supporting the transitional process plans in Yemen according to the principle of non-interference in Yemen's internal affairs. The Group discussed the progress at the level of the commitments approved in the previous ministerial meeting, which focused on the following : - The National Dialogue Conference and constitutional reforms and preparations for the elections in February 2014. - The implementation level of the pledges made for Yemen, which amounted to nearly eight billion dollars in 2012. - The serious humanitarian situation and security situation, including the reform of military and security services and the judiciary. The group called ,in its statement, on all parties to participate actively and constructively in the dialogue. The group also welcomed the recent statement of the Security Council on 15 February 2013, in which the Council expressed concern over the reports about interference in the transition process, especially the National Dialogue Conference. In the meeting, the president discussed with the ambassadors the developments at the level of preparations for launching the national dialogue conference. The President welcomed the good results of the meeting of the Friends of Yemen Group recently held in London, which came coinciding with the final preparations for the dialogue conference.
