Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi has renewed his country’s stand alongside the gaza strip against the israeli military operation which has continued for the third day successively , reiterating meantime,” Egypt of today is different from Egypt of yesterday” … “The price would be costly and high if the aggression cotinues”, dr.Morsi said said in press remarks after performing Friday mass prayers at Fatma Al-Sharbatly Mosque in Cairo today. “We assure them , a clear reference to Israel, that the price will be high for continued aggression, and ,”we tell them” you have to bear the responsibility,” President Morsi continued. Egypt will continue to support Gaza against continued attacks from Israeli armed forces, President Mohamed Morsi reiterated on Friday. “Egypt is different from yesterday,” he added, referring to his predecessor ousted President Hosni Mubarak’s soft stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict. During Morsi’s speech, worshippers chanted: “Khaybar, Khaybar, Oh Jews, the army of Mohamed will return.”… “I say to those on behalf of all the Egyptian people that Egypt today is different from yesterday, and Arabs today are different from yesterday. I say confidently that Egypt will not leave Gaza alone,” President Morsi said. Egypt “rejected on Thursday what President Morsi called Israel’s aggression in Gaza and said he had spoken with US President Barack Obama about ways to bring it to a halt. “The Israelis must understand that we do not accept this aggression, which can only lead to instability in the region,” Morsi said in televised remarks, as Israeli air forces pummelled Gaza and militants fired rockets back in a deadly tit for tat. “Shortly before dawn, I called President Obama and we discussed the need to put an end to this aggression and to ensure it does not happen again,” he said…. “We discussed ways to promote calm and to stop these acts… and to achieve peace and security.” “I explained Egypt’s role, Egypt’s position, that we have relations with the United States and the world, but at the same time we totally reject this aggression.”
