President of Bangladesh buried in capital with thousands attending

President of Bangladesh Mohammed Zillur Rahman was buried Friday in Dhaka. Thousands reportedly arrived at the burial to pay their respects.The Daily Star newspaper of Bangladesh reported today that the late president of Bangladesh died Wednesday at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. He was reportedly undergoing treatment for respiratory problems. Zillur Rahman was 84 years old. He was buried with state honor at Banani graveyard. His body was laid to rest next to his wife Ivy, who was killed in an attack in Dhaka back in 2004.The Government of Bangladesh declared a three-day mourning period that began yesterday.
