President Xi Jinping meets world leaders

The Boao Forum for Asia is already underway in south China’s Hainan province. Around 15 hundred political and business leaders are attending the three day event.Earlier today, Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with his Kazakhstan counterpart, Nursultan Nazarbayev, in Sanya, the capital of Hainan. Xi Jinping spoke highly of Nazarbayev’s personal contribution to boosting bilateral relations. Nazarbayev says the two countries have supported each other and maintained a mutual understanding, especially since the establishment of their strategic partnership. President Xi Jinping also met with Peruvian President Ollanta Humala. Xi Jinping said he believes Humala’s visit to China will bolster strategic ties,while Humala says China is playing an increasingly significant role on the world stage.
