Senior advisor to President Ahmadinejad said Iran would have a 'firm stance' vis-a-vis US accusations against Tehran adding that American officials are angry over questions raised by Ahmadinejad at the UN General assembly session.Mojtaba Samare Hashemi said US statesmen had no answers for President Ahmadinejad who asked them in the UN why they are occupying other countries and why they are increasing their military expenses and putting pressures on their nation. 'This is why they have made these baseless and unfounded accusations against Iran,' he added. Speaking in a TV program on Saturday evening, Samare Hashemi added that the US and Europe, after anti-capitalism movement and its expansion, intend to deviate world public opinion to create an opportunity for themselves to find a way to confront the movement. He continued that the baseless scenario of assassination plot of Saudi envoy in Washingto by Iran is following several goals adding that the US and European governments intend to decrease domestic pressure against themselves in the anti-capitalism movement. The senior advisor to president cautioned regional countries that the US and European countries want to disrupt relations between two important countries of the region, Iran and Saudi Arabia, and take control of Islamic awakening. They are confronting Iran to continue the policy of Iranophobia and also because Iran is the only country which has passed red lines of the west and is fighting against hegemonic powers and now is the axis of anti-arrogance and autocracy development in North Africa and the Middle East, said Samare Hashemi
