Presidential election: Algerian people will be up to the event

 Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, said being convinced Tuesday in Mascara (361km west of Algiers), that the Algerian people will "be up to the event", namely the coming presidential election."The electorate will be summoned next week in perspective of the presidential election and the Algerians will vote with pride, in serenity and dignity," Sellal said during the meeting with local elected representatives and the representatives of the civil society in Mascara."The government and President of the Republic are serene as the Algerian people will be up to the event," Sellal noted, adding that "thanks to its stability and human and material potentials, Algeria is on the right track."The Prime Minister highlighted the government efforts, stating that "much has been done in this regard and we reached a significant level." "We need to pursue these efforts and avoid delays that might slow the momentum of development," he insisted.Sellal reaffirmed the government determination to continue along the same path towards the implementation of the basic infrastructure, while enshrining "the principle of social justice."Algeria is a "reference" in terms of stability, said the Prime Minister who urged the local officials "not to disappoint" youth.
