Princess of Belgium meets Qatar's ambassador

Princess Astrid, Representative of King Philippe of Belgium met here today with HE Qatar's Ambassador to Belgium Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani.
The meeting held in preparation for a Belgian economic mission that will visit Doha led by the Princess accompanied by six federal Belgian Ministers included the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, State Secretary for Foreign Trade , Minister for energy and environment and other regional ministers such as Walloon Minister of Economy, Minister-President of Flanders and Secretary of State for Foreign Trade of the province Brussels along with 450 representatives of companies and institutions and it considered as a largest delegation in the history of Belgium.
HE Qatar's Ambassador stressed that the Kingdom of Belgium attaches great importance to this economic mission as participating companies hopes to sign a number of contracts.
Sheikh Ali described Qatari-Belgian relations as excellent and developed in political and economic fields and reviving Qatar's cultural days in Belgium.
This Belgian mission is expected to arrive in Qatar from March 21-23 and during their stay will sign a number of agreements between the two sides in various fields.
