
Russian President Vladimir Putin has held a process meeting with the permanent members of the Security Council, presidential press-secretary Dmitry Peskov has said.
"There was a detailed discussion of progress in the implementation of the Minsk agreements, in particular, the conflicting parties’ pullback of heavy armaments from the lines of engagement," he said.
"A number of topical social and economic issues was raised," Peskov said.
Taking part in the meeting were Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, chief of the Kremlin staff Sergey Ivanov, Federation Council speaker Valentina Matviyenko, Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev, his deputy Rashid Nurgaliyev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, federal security service FSB chief Director Alexander Bortnikov, foreign intelligence chief Mikhail Fradkov, and permanent member of the Security Council Boris Gryzlov.
