Russian President Vladimir Putin has met US National Security Advisor Thomas Donilon, who gave the Russian president a message from US President Barack Obama, presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said on Monday. Putin has joined the talks currently underway in the Kremlin with the participation of Donilon. The meeting also involves secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, Deputy Defence Minister Anatoly Antonov, representatives of the FSB and SVR. The US delegation includes US Ambassador in Moscow Michael McFaul, State Department Assistant Secretary for Arms Control, Verification and Compliance Rose Gottemoeller, and Under-Secretary of Defence James Miller.
