
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin will chair on Monday, July 29, a meeting on future development of the Navy and on fulfilment of the state armament programme for 2011-2020 as per weapons and military equipment for the Navy, the Kremlin’s press service reported on Sunday. The meeting will be “another working meeting, devoted to the modern state and future development of various sectors of the defence industrial complex,” where participants will discuss “fulfilment of the state defence order by shipbuilding facilities and possible problems there.” The meeting will feature high officials of the presidential administration, the government and ministries, and representatives of major shipbuilding companies.
