Qatar has strongly condemned and denounced the bombing that targeted a military site for refugee services at the northeastern borders of Jordan, leaving six soldiers dead and 14 Jordanian army and security personnel injured.
In a statement issued Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry said that as Qatar denounces such a criminal act that targets a number of Jordanian army personnel, it reaffirms its backing for Jordan in the measures it takes to protect its borders and preserve its security and stability, according to Qatar News Agency, QNA.
The statement reiterated the need to join efforts to tackle all forms and manifestations of violence and terrorism whatever the source was and the entities behind it, expressing Qatar's sincere condolences for the families of victims as well as the Jordanian government and people.
