Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad ben Khalifa al-Thani on top of a Qatari delegation met Wednesday with Ethiopian President Girma Wolde Giorgis to discuss bilateral relations. The meeting took up boosting trade and commercial relations along with investments and mutual agreements. Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani, Ethiopia's Premier Hailemariam Desalegn and Foreign Minister Tedros Adhanom attended the meeting. At the end of the meeting, the Qatari Emir and Desalegn witnessed signing of number of agreements and memoranda of understanding in many fields. They included cooperation on cultural level, education and scientific research, in addition to operating flights by Qatari Airways to the Ethiopian capital.
