
The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion that targeted the headquarters of a security directorate in the city of Mansoura in Dakahlia governorate, killing more than 12 people and injuring 130. The explosion also resulted in the collapse of parts of the buildings. This came in a statement by an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Qatar News Agency (QNA). The source further confirmed that the State of Qatar strongly condemns such acts which are contrary to all human values, calling on all parties to exercise restraint and to maintain stability and security of Egypt, which in turn means the stability of the region. The source reiterated Qatar’s firm stance on renouncing violence in all its manifestations and forms and whatever its source, stressing that dialogue between all parties is the only way to maintain national unity.
