Qatari Emir meets outgoing German ambassador

HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani met here Monday morning at his Emiri Diwan office HE Germany's Ambassador to Qatar Anne Ruth Herkes on the occasion of the expiry of her tenure in Qatar. At the beginning of the meeting, HH the Emir presented the outgoing German ambassador with the sash of merit in recognition of her efforts in enhancing the ties between the two countries, and wished her every success in her future assignments and relations between Qatar and Germany further progress and prosperity. For her part, the German Ambassador voiced her thanks to HH the Emir and the State's officials for the cooperation during her tenure in office.
