Qatari PM takes part in GCC-Russia meeting

HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani participated in the second joint ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue between the GCC countries and Russia which was held Wednesday night at the GCC general secretariat in Riyadh. Discussions at the meeting focused on the Syrian crisis in the light of the Syrian regime’s continued use of military force in blood letting of the Syrian people and destroying their towns. The discussions also focused on the phase that is to follow the formation of a national coalition of the Syrian opposition groups in Doha on Nov 11. HE Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim has since left Riyadh after taking part in the meeting. He was seen off upon departure by HE Qatar’s ambassador in Riyadh, Ali Bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud.
