
A round of official talks between Qatar and Ireland took place on Tuesday with the Qatari side headed by HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani. Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny chaired his country's side. The session reviewed existing ties between the two countries and means of boosting and developing them on all fronts, in addition to discussing a set of issues of mutual concern. A number of Qatari ministers attended the round of talks as well as Irish ministers accompanying Kenny. HE the Premier held a luncheon banquet in honour of the Irish prime minister and the accompanying delegation.
