Qatar's Advisory Council Delegation heads to Switzerland

A delegation from Qatar's Advisory Council on Friday left Doha for Switzerland to take part in the 125th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union( IPU), due to be held at Bern in Switzerland on 16-19 October.The delegation led by HE the Council's Deputy Speaker, Issa bin Rabia al-Kuwari, also includes HE the Secretary General: Fahad Bin Mubarak Al- Khayareen and a number of the Council's members. IPU members will elect the President and Vice-Presidents of the 125th Assembly, discuss the subject items chosen for debate during the 126th Assembly (Kampala, 31 March -5 April 2012), the report of the IPU Committee on United Nations Affairs and amendments to the Statutes and Rules of the IPU.
