Qatar's Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani arrived today in Djibouti capital, Djibouti, on an official visit within the framework of the Qatari mediation to resolve the dispute between Djibouti and Eritrea, where an agreement was signed under the auspices of Qatar in Doha in 2010.
Al-Thani voiced pleasure for the releasing of a group of Djiboutian prisoners thanks to the response of Eritrea with the Qatari efforts made by HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani, with brethren in Eritrea and Djibouti.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the minister expressed the hope that this would be a step in the process of settling the remaining differences between the brethren in the Republic of Djibouti and the State of Eritrea.
