QOC secretary general meets Yemen’s youth, sports minister

Qatar Olympic Committee Secretary General HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on Thursday met with Yemen’s Minister of Youth and Sports Muamar Al-Iriani and the delegation accompanying him, currently on a working visit to the country.During the meeting, the two sides reviewed aspects of sports cooperation between Qatar and Yemen and means of boosting and developing them, with HE Sheikh Saoud expressing QOC’s readiness to exchange expertise between the two countries in the fields of training and sporting events.The Yemeni minister expressed pleasure at visiting Doha, hailing the sports renaissance in Qatar. At a later point, the delegation visited two sports exhibitions at Katara and Al-Riwaq exhibition hall.
