Rafah border tunnels temporarily closed due to bad weather

The Gaza interior ministry said Sunday that instructions have been issued to the border authority to close all border tunnels in the city of Rafah as many of them had collapsed due to bad weather. The decision is 'temporary' and aims at protecting lives of workers of these tunnels following repeated collapses which left a number of people dead and injured, a source at the ministry told a local news agency. They will be reopenedonce the weather improves.
