A group of retired servicemen have formed a new political party named “AS Parti” in Turkey.
The majority of the founders of the new party are retired sergeants. The founders intend to bring together over 200,000 servicemen in the party.
Founder of the AS party asserted that his party enjoys great popularity compared to the other recently-formed political parties, adding that the party would embrace all and respect religious and national values.
